These terms cover your use of Free Fabric Calculator. By using the site, you agree to them. They’re written in plain words on purpose.
Results Are Estimates Only
The calculators give estimates based on the sizes and settings you enter. They can’t see your fabric, your pattern or how you cut and sew. Fabric widths, shrinkage and seam allowances vary, and a small typing mistake can change the answer.
Before you buy or cut:
- Check your measurements, and measure the fabric itself if your pieces only just fit across it.
- Follow your pattern where it gives a different amount or allowance.
- Buy a little extra if running short would be a problem. Matching fabric can be hard to find later.
Free and As Is
The site is free to use. It’s provided “as is,” without any promise that it’s error-free, always available or right for your project. I work to keep the calculations correct and test them, but I can’t guarantee every result.
Responsibility
You decide how much fabric to buy and how to cut it. I’m not responsible for fabric bought, cut or sewn, or for any other loss, based on what the site shows, as far as the law allows.
Using the Site
You’re welcome to use the calculators for personal or business projects and to share links to the site. Please don’t copy the site’s text or code to republish it as your own, or try to disrupt the site.
Changes
I may update these terms. When I do, I change the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
